Assoc Prof Wai Peng Wong

Wai Peng Wong is an Associate Professor in the School of Information Technology at Monash University Malaysia. She has published over 78 journal articles across peer‑reviewed outlets, along with book chapters and conference papers. She has led research projects funded by British Academy and Academy Science Malaysia, Malaysia's Ministry of Higher Education, Motorola Technology Pte Ltd and the Japan Sumitomo Foundation.  

Prof Tien-Tsin Wong

TT graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1992 with a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science. He obtained his M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the same university in 1994 and 1998 respectively. From August 1998 to August 1999, he was a visiting assistant professor in the Computer Science Department of Hong Kong University of Science & Technology. From August 1999 to June 2024, he was a professor in the Computer Science & Engineering Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Michael's research explores how interactive visualisation can be used to understand complex data and build user-guided AI systems. His research explores automatic and user-guided approaches for the layout of diagrams and documents.

Dr Jue (Grace) Xie is a Lecturer in human-computer interaction at Action Lab. She is also a senior software engineer and has over 15 years of applied research experience in software architecture, web information systems, consumer health informatics, data quality, knowledge engineering and applied conversational AI innovation.
